Our Story
I (Matt) developed a passion for the "creator economy" over years of learning, getting inspiration and taking action from other creators, entrepreneurs and artists. Social media lead me to health & calisthenics coaches which transformed my entire life. Since then I've learnt 3D animation, linear algebra, filmmaking, copywriting and the list goes on - all via social media.
It became time for me to start sharing my own ideas, lessons and progress. It was about time I started creating and not consuming in those off-hours after my software dev work.
Just one problem.
I'm not a copywriter.
It took me a few hours to realize that writing a single LinkedIn post is either stupid hard work, or I'm somehow seriously wasting my time.
Turns out I was (mostly) wasting my time.
Over the next couple of months in early 2024, the idea for Typespace was formulated. It's completely and hilariously different to the tool I've built today. The important thing was that I got started. Now, I'm really just so proud to have built a tool that has made my time creating for social media so much bloody easier.
